On a serious note there was a bug that people exploited when you make bot matches give you MMR, he could have used that, tho many people munched a ban for it

not sure how, but probably has to do with hiding match history and then only just turning it on when he got boosted. its a new a/c so. not impossible.

there is anyway something weird with the calibration... as mentioned before in this smurf I am using only WD support with a KDA above 4 72% win rate, always top dmg /assist/kills and get an estimation of 2.5k on open dota dn cant reach high skills.. Tried another smurf offlane with undying, the most shitty game ever made in my life, mmr estimation 3.8k still dont get HS though... I think it s just matter of luck for the first games where u end up...

ITs doesnt matter anyway, this new "recalibration every 6 months" is designed to make it expensive for him to maintain that badge, and by requiring boosting that often he exposing himself to a risk to be caught eventually so who cares?
