Because of that old dumb strat where necro would just stack and slowly whittle down ancients. Just seemed like a dumb meme build that wasn't even very effective, and was very obvious once you realized necro wasn't on the map.
its because necro could farm ancients and even roshan at level 1 with heartstopper a while ago.
