It's the prestigious TI, not rewarding these men for coming such a long way to give everyone a good game doesn't sound so generous and grand.

OP you're just stupid. No team at TI "didn't win any games". They just didn't win any games at the main event. Several teams were given only one game, and EVERYONE won games in the group stage. Everyone who qualified won most of their regional games. They didn't just lose or they wouldn't be there.
