the mistake is obvious .. were a core but itemized like a support. .....also u sould have pushed way earlier with both jugg and veno on ur team...also you mentioned ult dives.... dont suicide ult on veno please.... you can always stay back and get 3/ 4 heroes in ur ult range without jumping in at all....the veil was apretty good pick up but its timing was way too late. ....shivas would also be a very good pick up this game

I really dont know whats wrong wiyh your items man.... a core veno farms and takes towers really fast idk how u end up with a 20 min veil

I don't think there's anything wrong with your item build apart from your boots, not finishing the pike, and midas that slowed down your progress a lot. You don't need a midas when you want to end the game asap. Look at their heroes... are you going to fight them late game ?

However, I would say the main problem is not your itemization, but you don't know what the hero does, and you lacked of knowledge of the game.
Also, how can you have lane confusion with 5 stacks....

So basically, everythings wrong?
Thanks all. I admit that I play like a garbage here. Never used to do any core position bar safelane carry and thus, my lack of knowledge is severe

@fatty: it was a lol moment, WR was meant to go mid but pre 0 min mark he said i should go instead due to meld-melting poison. It was called when we already bought our items and goes towards rune spot. It was bad play from us. Will take care of that in the future

On core veno, should tread better? I buy arcanes because lack of mana, and forgetting that both bottle and soul ring exist

Yeap, his core items are enough to increase his mana pool, and you can always tread switch to whatever stats you want. For example, Int when you're going to skill, Agi when you're regening by bottle, and during your normal state, Str when you feel you're in danger/you're getting gone on.

This game I might have gone for ghost instead of FS tho since their main damage comes from right clicks

If you are going to make agh you must get a good initiating item at start.(but really make initiating item always ) venom can be built differently.
There was an arcane carrier so you shouldve made PT get ring which helps you with mana in early game carry clarities.
venom is the fastes jungler in game. you can farm 3 camps at one time. as a mid your item timing is bad. YOur veil is late and you dont have a good positining item for venom like blink SB. enter fight ulti get out with pike. the damage is so insane that it wins you the team ifght most of the time.
i play it as utility core/supp most of the time and have pretty decent winrate.
btw a good slark is really good to deal with your dots. ban that thing in ns bracket atleast
