I don't know if u still go solar as opposed to deso when often times ur supports and offlaners will pick it up.
he is still relatively squishy early on but can become tanky
He has shit attack animation because he gets huge attack speed buff from strafe, just like drow gets from her ult and lina from fiery souls. All three heroes have attack speed buffs and shit base attack animation.
My only problem with clinkz is slardar.
he is glass cannon for sure.
his shitty attack animation is compensated with damage from searing arrow.
I always get both desolator and solar crest though.

Did you actually think I was talking seriously to ask that kind of question? Or was there something else you were thinking?
He is a stealth cannon unlike sniper or drow that need to build shadow blade. Very excellent to solo or coop ganking. Just plant blue ward to anticipate his attack
He's a glass cannon cus people build him like one usually, orchid nonsense, deso, crystalis, do they even get pike as core or manta ever? Sniper is same way, if you want a tanky sniper you can get lance/hurricane pike, manta/s&y, and take the hp talent and he is tanky as fuck at level 15. But most people build maelstrom/mjollnir to farm or rush deso to do tower dmg or shadowblade to init/escape so he ends up being squishy.
Late game clinkz goes skadi a lot I think so yeah he can get tanky.
The other thing is you are usually casting solar crest on enemies for the debuff, not using to tank up, and I'm pretty sure no one goes 15 strength over the 30 searing arrows damage. If you did though and had crest buff, yes incredibly tanky.
lycan with necro book is a bigger problem than slardar, you can ust run away from slardar but you can't run from lycan.

With the immense buff to his ult, as well as certain synergies to abuse it, and solar crest being a go-to item for him, should you really see clinkz as a glass canon hero? He will have more HP than most strength heroes by the time he gets lvl 2 ult, and solar crest is pretty natural on him, so he is not very prone to right clicking either.
