Against LC you just win the duel usually, Axe is a huge issue though as he wastes your precious bkb time and refuses to die.

There's always only 2 ways to counter axe as a hard hitting carry. Buy manta and hope you have fast reflexes. Buy satanic and hope you have fast reflexes
or initiate and kill axe before he gets blink call off. Or have someone on your team buy euls or e-blade.

His call is complete useless without blink due to its cast time and his own abysmal movespeed. His ult is almost garbage mid->lategame other than countering Dazzle and Oracle. Without proper vision many a leftclick hero gonna melt against axe, ok, but it's not a cause to nerf an item. And there's a very pretty button like navy-radar next to your mini-map, use it often.

By buying 3 bm's the enemy is risking sinking their money into toilet. Bm lasts for 4.5 seconds, while God's strength lasts for ~*10 that amount. Just make impression that you're gonna hit 'em, retreat until bm is off, re-engage. As simple as that. It's even easier than... um... something easy
Get a heart on sven for ez win. Legit it's extremely hard to die even against an axe with heart
I got ac cus I'm pretty sure blade mail reflects as same damage type and it's reduced by armor if physical. Might be wrong... I was surviving ok at the end but they were too far ahead at that point.
Buy 4 rapier 1 daedalus and 1 blink dagger, one lucky crit is enough to force axe get back...XD
sven is generally tanky enough to not rip himself. even when you fully buff up you shouldnt die
working as intended, i see nothing wrong. buy satanic and activate once you see axe running in. harder that it sounds but eh worth a shot right
if you have no way around it, just build tanky as fuck, go for items like satanic, heart, AC and you are good
if you are having trouble with axe wrecking your BKB duration or being too squishy to survive if the enemy initiates, it is obvious that you cannot build a bursty sven but go for a tanky as fuck build, even a ridiculously tanky sven build hits hard, but you might struggle against tanky opponents yourself
or you can be a huge fucking troll and build a ghost scepter and hope to god nobody builds a diffusal or has dispels on the enemy team, nothing is more hilarious than watching a blademail axe call your ghost scepter'd sven
of course sven has no slots for this shit so w/e, it can still make it more likely for you to survive than a 6k gold satanic

I'm pretty sure silver edge will reduce blademail return damage.
also ur a sven, if u have ac and warcry u have an anus amt of armor, and ur armor will reduce the physical dmg ur taking.
also strength on sven makes him tankier and hit harder, so it works.
the goal is to force axe to initiate on someone other than urself, basically have someone else push on a tower, so that axe calls him only or loses tower. then u can initiate on him when blademail ends or whatever.

silver edge does -50% damage reduction but it's only when the first hit out of invis why would I waste too much gold on that to happen when I can dodge a call but HoT, Satanic & Cuiras is the must go item at that game
