yes, you can remove animation effect gems for sure, but i think u need a specific tool for that (common hammerm ight not work)
im not very sure about it though, last time i did it was a year ago

kinetic gems can be removed from and placed on any cosmetic for the hero with standard hammer into standard sockets

But yes, yes you can.

That kinetic gem will only work for CM stuff. You have to by the chisel thing which is only 99cents for 3 or 5 charges. I don't remember. I have not messed with gems in a hu'while.

Try with something cheaper and that you wouldn't mind losing first.
