BKB if i need to purge silences
Eul's or Lotus might be better alternatives, BKB just seems way too greedy and offers no utility to the team.

Man, on my side. I dont make boots as early items. I make stout, Mango, tanggo,salve. Then your goin to rush build poormanshield. It defends what lane and what role are you. I always make this cause it is offlane. Blocking some of the damage of your opponent will make them hard to kill you anyway. Situationally, I always make tranqs for easy jungle and a talon to make a dag between 9-11 mins. And i dont advise not to get epicenter in early just max out the 1st atleast you got vl2 or 3 defending on the situation (caustic finale) you have to get the epicenter cause in 10 mins you can make a dagger already that is needed for effective clash followups or initiations. Love this hero so much. I just hate being fucked by KOTL anyways. But usually you can do tons of shit with most of the carry's. And btw vl3 in 3 mins dont forget to bring tp :)
You got lots of situation items , skill type opponents, make euls defiance , Its situational anyways. These are just pointers for early like 9-20 mins of the game. GL

I like the boots because its easier to kite, escape, run into creep way, smack two with caustic and run back, while the support Rclicks you and tanks a bunch of agro cause your ran out of range of them.
You do raise a valid point, once in a while I've done the soul ring tranqs. The rare oppertunity I've faced melee carry+melee support, I skip epi until I do have dagger. Most of the time, I am getting it at 6.
I will try out your starting items, seems decent for resisting harass.

Yes that build used to good against certain matchups. AKA bring your own sent, tango,QB the enemies sit in lane doing the dance.
In higher MMRS they bring dust and screw you. Also you need to have no ground targeted stuns, silences which like never happens.
boot build is only for when they can 100% kill you in lane
something like a 2-3 stun 3lane.
1-3-1 is terrible build, you won't be able to do anything with it in the midgame.
my starting items are almost always the same: stout tango mango salve branch.
also bkb is goddamn awful on sandking, i'd rather kill myself IRL than buy it.

your build/playstyle is quite the opposite of mine, you're almost doing nothing similar to me.

against range carry, you mostly just pull aggro back and lasthit
against range support, bait them around corners into trees and smack them, your passive hits like a truck.

Thinking of spamming SK in the offlane. Played a few times this week with 50/50 results, but 100% fun in every game.
Hero is just really fun to play.
Anyways, I'd love to get your advise, any other peoples input as well.
Starting Build. boots, tangos and two branches (branches for extra regen from tango) hopefully a support pools me a ward.
Build. start with stun for escape FB attempts. then ont point in caustic. After that, it depends on lane.
If its 2 melee with low kill potential, i get lvl 2 caustic at level 3. then 4, and 5 are stun, skip epi and max stun castic. , get it at 9.
If its a tough lane but have no AOE stun (intrupt) I will go 3 stun, 1 Sand , 1 caustic.
If i've been against a dirty dirty trilane of 3 range( drow, venge silencer) I will go 1-3-1 and just jungle since that is a tough ass lane.
Just wanted to know what your build is (I understand it changes based on enemies ) and what your starting items are?
Usually I go arc, Blink ( Casual ring of regen) or force staff(always force) aghs or lens then BKB if i need to purge silences, hex, travels shiva etc.
Could you please share your exp. here?
