The longer the game, the more experience you get. There isn't a set amount of games. You have to play for 50 hours to play ranked.
^50hrs ? I have more than 50hrs i guess and still ranked mm is locked ! approx no. Of games to unlock ranked is 120-150
You have 50 matches with an average match length of 42 minutes giving you a total of 35 hours of competitive matches. Unless you have some matches excluded from your profile you haven't hit 50 hours yet.
Just play techies until your calibration matchea get close- that way the longer game times will earn you more levels without having to wait for queues
