Bsj is a good player tbh i think he cud do it and idk why not. Saw babyknight do it in a pro match and they won, tho i thought the brood build was echo now.
Top Broods play it that way long before CLQ.
It was viable and a thing LONG before 7.00, only that a small portion of people, who play Brood know about it for some reason.
There are tons of variations over conventional Orchid+BKB, like Radiance/Midas. All work very well.

Saw Chi Long Qua stream this last night and he was double farming radiant ancients at 5, 7 and 9 mins. Had orchid at 10, bkb at 15, deso at 19 and game over at 25
Next game was dire and took a little while to farm, had autistic teammates who kept going to his lane but similar item timings, game just dragged to 35 mins and they still won
