I recently started party queueing high skill and very high skill on my new main account.
I threw the first game on my new smurf just so I could have easier matchmaking for when I play with friends who are new to dota.
What's weird is that i've started getting high skill on my smurf even though I threw the game. My friend who i'm stacking with recently calibrated 3k party mmr and from what i've read, high skill bracket is an average of 3.2k.
I chose the "I'm a beginner to RTS" option which from what I gather should have put me in the 1k mmr bracket.
Does Party Matchmaking take the average hidden mmr between the stack or does it match for the highest mmr player in the stack?
I don't understand how i'm getting high skill on my smurf after so decisively losing my first game with terrible stats.
