Sometimes you just need to initiate first. Having a Blink is a necessity in such drafts.
Only in the drafts, where you can afford constantly allowing the enemy to initiate on you it is acceptable to not buy Blink.
Depends on the tempo of tfs. Sometimes u can just walk in and hit 5 but still lose the game. Gg
You definitely don't need it early like a Slardar or Axe might, but it's still a good item to pick up. It can make the difference of hitting their whole team, instead of just one or two people.
You definitely need blink to initiate. With force staff mid late game tide is useless without dagger as people can pop bkb and ignore tide presence during major fight.

Yeah ur right abt late game. So something like greaves pipe/force/lotus blink refresher? If ur behind i can also see faster blink be good cuz it enables picks and turning disadvantageous fights.
just rush greaves and take towers, if they come to def position yourself for the dream ravage
I dont play Dota anymore but wasnt it in 8 out of 10 games a mek into greaves first? You become a tanky fucker then and can Push all Towers down with a pushing Core, so they just can't kill u and need to jump ur Core ->ravage

Do you really need it? I mean the range on ravage is huge, and you dont need it to counter initiate as they initiate on you and you kraken shell and ravage. I just feel like having more front liner tanky aura items to keep your team alive so your counter initiation works seems better. you could just buy a force staff and i feel like that would be enough.
