I don't even think Invoker needs mana for his spells... He casts spells even under the effect of sheepstick and bloodthorn.
I think he has mana only for Medusa and dealing damage with diffusal.
He has 65k manapool, and 1k mana regen. Im quite certain mana drain is quite ineffective here.
Ghost Walk is a passive on him right?
So you will still get tornadoes and shitstorm even if he's out of mana
