u see the whole animation if at least a smallest part of it is in ur area of vision. lets say bh's inv ability's animation is a) very long and b) kinda huge. and also noisy.
im pretty sure i saw ember sleight of fist multiple times in rosh pit without having any vision at all
im struggling to explain, but lets try.
the visual animation of a spell is basically a set of fast changing images. if a single pixel of this picture is in your vision, you will see the rest of spell animation as well.
i suppose that bh's animation is bigger than it seems and has transparent part around it (doesnt make much sense). if bh's visible animation is right about the borderline of ur vision, the transparent part still crosses it and u see the whole thing.
Also i can see neutral camps when someone is farming it, when i'm near while having no vision, i can see the neutrals taking damage not the hero farming it.
