my highest was 112 wpm , my daily average is 105

comming from mmo games i can see why dota players type slowly , mouse based game rather than keybord like mmorpgs

also typeracer is way harder ;D

now i got 90 after a few tries, doubt that i can get anymore than that
but i have cheap rubber pad keyboard so i might get up once i get a mechanical one

i'd say it's the average for a gamer though.

and for ppl wondering about mechanical, i typed ~100-110 before I got a mechanical. while I was getting used to it I dropped to ~90 and then when I got more and more used to it I got up to ~130 (and now 138... to be fair I only got 136 today with spunki)

so it's like a 20-30% increase in speed I'd say, at least from my experience only.

if u have less than 100 wpm im sorry but ur a shitty gamer that can only play dota because he played it so much & got good at it eventually , i have a shit 2 euro keyboard non mechanical and i pull 110+ & i even type with 2-3 fingers i don't use them all like i should

Hitting around 105 mainly here, I feel I can do better but I'm a perfectionist and every time I make a mistake I go back and delete the error, slows me down a bit I guess.

^ control+a backspace to delete whole word I find is a bit faster than trying to backspace to your mistake, or hitting backspace multiple times to delete the whole word.

but usually just ignoring it and going to the next word is faster.
