Dude you WANT to lucid dream? Sometimes I get a phonecall during sleep and I'm still dreaming and I say the dumbest shit. Live your life without it I say.
i learnt so much during my dreams, about myself, about my feelings, about the real life, and you can use it effectively to train movements / recall lessons and study during ur dreams
imo lucid dreaming is a lazy mans wet dream - you can do everything with no effort
Or, you think you're playing some weird MTG/Fire Emblem mashup while you're playing tango with the snooze button. It's unpleasant and disorienting.
lmao, true. but i guess it becomes better with training (less effort, less distraction ... )
idk im not having nightmares anymore, they are usually just very annoying loops
like some weeks ago i had a "nightmare" of a guy coming up the stairs to my apartment and i got a really bad feeling so i closed the door. of course he came through and stabbed me until i died
this shit repeated itsself 2-3 times until i got lucid but i was powerless - i literally thought "can this shit end already"
Fall asleep and dream that you're playing dota. Realize you're not feeding and so it must be a dream. Lucid dream and win the game.
I'm pretty consistently a lucid dreamer. For me the challenge is controlling the story line to head the direction i want while still not convincing myself I am lucidly dreaming and controlling the dream. Realizing you're dreaming and just flying around and stuff just doesn't do it for me.
@Lawliepop
so does that mean that you just don't want to have normal lucid dreams? How did you come to master lucid dreaming (or were u just able to do so naturally)? Also did you try stuff like seeing yourself in a mirror or creating people to talk to? In my dreams whenever I try to create people they're usually faceless and don't talk, when i check a mirror it just looks like a silver plate
I haven't worked on specific lucid dreaming exercises. I used to make an effort when I was younger to remember my dreams but other than that I didn't seek it out.
I haven't tried to look into a mirror or create people. But I can summon a recurring dream character to or someone i know to join the dream if im so inclined.
remembering dreams = using a dream journal? Or is there any other, less annoying way?
Remembering dreams for me.. when I wake up I just take a few minutes and reflect on the dream and try to remember as many details as possible. I've never kept a journal.
I have it everynight or rather everynight that i do dream and or remember it. a good tip is to keep a dreamjournal oh and listen to repetative stuff while sleeping and or starting to sleep
how can you induce nightmares?
either by being insecure over all, or by wanting it when you're lucid. Generally you shouldn't be scared of nightmares though because you can control them easily

kinda looks like an half assed dream journal :'D but alright gonna try that
oh and listen to repetative stuff while sleeping and or starting to sleep
you mean auto suggestion? like "I'll become lucid.." or "I'll know that im dreaming"?
tbh ive had it several times, and the requirement on my chases :
1. Ur on a calm state, free stress
2. Holiday
3. not doing smth tiring on that day, dont too much seeing monitor
4. 10 hours sleep with some nap on that day
and i nvr enjoy that what so called lucid dream, its smth like "oh im dreaming, what should i do" and ended up doing it less than a mins and awake. mb cuz im not doing those rituals, whatever idc
Anyone else had a dream so frickin weird but in the dream it really never felt out of the ordinary UNTIL you wake up and realize everything wrong in the dream?
I has this weird dream just recently where I was back home and babysitting my 3 year old sister. She talks a lot and should remind you of stewie from family guy. We're like best buds. Then I wake up and realize I DON'T HAVE A SISTER and the only younger sibling I have is one hell of a dick.
@tohka from what I understand from lucid dreaming, if you ever just find yourself in control of the dream you have tomake sure you don't do something too exciting that should raise your heart's bpm. That's when you suddenly find yourself waking up instead. Had only one successful lucid dream in my whole life, and that was reliving an old childhood memory of being with my grandpa going on a cruise on his 8-wheeler cane truck.
Idk but I had this 1 dream when my younger sister died bcoz of some disease and I actually feel that I was crying that time.
