Forced winrate? in General Discussion

And btw, your 1 on 2 chance probability isnt working to be honest. http://www.dotabuff.com/players/150559110 ; if you good you win right ? Why loosing all of a sudden for 10 matches in a row

Sorry, but there is no such thing as fixed or forced winrate. I know you want to believe in it, but simply, there is nothing like that.

As soon as you click that find match button, MM puts you in the queue and gives you the most balanced game. In consideration it takes your MMR, your chosen server and lanaguage and thats it. Algorythm simply DOESNT CARE if you lost 15 or you won 15 games in a row, and honestly, why it should?

"so why the fuck i always after win streak I lose shitton of games blabla" you need to cionsider the fact that if u moved like 300-400 MMR in short perioid of time, you are playing with a people that are slightly skilled than people you previously played with. Its like, going from gold nova3 to mg1 in cs:go i nshort period of time. OFcourse, its not HUGE difference, but IT IS slightly harder than it usually it is. Also, maybe it wasnt your day, you are playing like shit and on tilt (angry queue) For real, there are so many things that can be involved and be the reason why you lose so much.

hiddene pool? yeah it exists but is created for known abusers for example sandboxing, botting or any thing that is not regular. It is special part of matchmaking. Some kind of different LPQ. To get into it, you need to fuck up alot, or do some shit above. I guarantee you wont be in hidden pool cause you get reported here or then, or especially if you win alot, like wtf? To play against people that are in hidden pool, you need to be in hidden pool by yourself, mm wont just throw couple of those kind of acc in your game to fuck up.

IMO, you guys need to realize that MM algorythim is a simple thing, that doesnt have some weird shit behind all it, that it really doesnt want you to fuck you or something, niether you are cursed or Valve hates you. It just matches you with people that it considers proper to play against you, thats fucking it.

Hidden pool most definitely exists. If your games are super hard cause you get bad players/ragers/flamers/feeders every game, check your behavior score. If it's low (under 5000), there is a good chance you're in it. But on the other hand - you probably deserve to play with players like yourself :)

aye ok, how about maths class? what is that supposed to prove? guy has got 73% win rate, good for him, all that means some poor noob somewhere has got 27% win rate, and gaben will put him into your next game prolly.

            https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambler%27s_fallacy

but in a way you guys are right, algorithm does take into account your past games,
say you get 10 wins in a row, you are too good for your own bracket, so you get moved up to play with more difficult opponents until you hit people who are better then you, which is when you start to lose.

and all this topic is: I can't stomp noobs, cuz when i start winning i dont play against noobs anymore cry cry

I logically think that it's more unreal than real. But I am more inclined to say that it is real based on my experiences. There have been times when I went on a massive win streak, and times when I fall on a massive loss streak.

Many people will also go through these kind of experiences, and I think the biggest issue lies not within the pool, but in oneself. I calibrated this account at 2.9k mmr and soon dropped to 2.4k, but it only took me a week to realise what I was doing wrong and here I am now, at 3.5, about 2 months later. I went up to 3.8k once, and dropped in mmr due to a loss streak.

I think its all about having that bazinga moment when you play, that actually affects whether you can rise in mmr or not.

muted all, it's just a ga...

better to close this thread :/

If this is the case then the search time to find the next matches as soon as you 54% should be longer then the search times for all previous matches (since it will have to dig through for more users).

I mean there is no certainty in any of this without Valve releasing the algorithm but it seems ridiculous to put more metrics on a process that can already take up to 15 minutes to find a match with.

                      its a mental thing

overcome it and mmr will coem to you

Granted I'm certain what's happening is that when you're over 50% you're put into a larger possible skill pool so you may be playing against (and with) players in a larger variance. If this is what you meant - cool.

Maybe when you cross over the 50% win rate your possible matchmaking pool is changed from +/- 225 to +/- 325.

Conceivably this shouldn't be hard to overcome if you're that good. Yes, a single teammate can despoil a win... as much as a single teammate can secure one.

Then it's a roll of the dice as to whether or not you are playing with or against such a team. Bear in mind that it can't be to punish you individually or else it would be doing a disservice to 5 people; not just you and that's a little too tin foil hat for me.

The hidden pool is real, you can just check as many profile as you wish, and you will discover, that the vast majority of the games, there is a similar pattern: the winning team has its players on winning streeks, the loosing team has its players on loosing streak. These streaks then rotate, and so Valve-Forced balanced is implemented...

Just check, u don't need to be a believer to convince yourself
