you can actually file a lawsuit against valves ranked matchmaking system, good sir. it seems that you shouldve gotten 5k but the game is so flawed, and the forum wishes you sorry for that.

Normal and Ranked Matchmaking use a different hidden MMR if you are close to the edge of HS it can happen that you are NS in ranked and HS in unranked. Since some unranked games also were in NS this could be the case. Are you always playing solo btw ? This can affect the skill bracket as well. So with a couple of wins more you should be able to get into HS in ranked as well.
The normal skill sometimes in unranked is when i play w frnds..and yes i am trying to get into high skill bracket

I was placed in high skill and played almost all my games in HS but when i calibrated i was placed in NS ... Whenever i play normal, its HS and when i play ranked match , it is normal again!!
