I dunno man.. I still believe radiance is my go to item.. yes diffusal is gud.. but I would prefer to rush yasha for ms and phase boots.. it also gives u the atk speed.. then radiance for the dmg,farm and EVASION.. makes it much harder to kill spect.. my personal opinion though..
everytime i see a spec go radiance in 5k, it either causes them to lose or makes their win a lot harder
The illusions from your ultimate can literally win a fight alone due to the absurd amount of damage they get from desolate, diffusal mana burn, and radiance burn damage. having BOTH (radiance and diffusal) literally leaves some supports completely out of the fight before it even starts. LOL
Phase > Urn > Drums > Manta > situational. situational includes radiance. radiance is fine as a 4th item now.
errr, you know I do understand the synergy of radiance with spec's ulti... right?
the point being is if you pick it up, you give up all the potential pickoffs you might have gotten with an earlier manta or diffusal.
yeah no shit in a perfect world, if u can afk farm the entire game then of course winning is easy, i'm talking about how radiance is weak if your team is losing and slows down your momentum if you're snowballing
it's only ideal in a breakeven game where its guaranteed to drag meaning it isn't core like people think. people like you. it's probably about as situational as a puck going dagon which happens often but not every game.

honestly im pretty sure radiance 1st is a game losing item at this point.
badman broke the meta, but his build is pretty much 100% build kinda shit.
your only real options begin after manta. diffusal/radiance/bkb/etc.
you could hypothetically grab a BKB before manta for example if you REALLY need bkb. but phase>urn>drum>manta is like 99.99% build tbh.
except maybe OD why would you get bkb?
Also you guys are forgetting the "my safelane got sacked because they had an aids offlane" iron talon PMS jungle build =p
u get it if u have issues pushing out waves, or you think fights going to be dragged out/lots of kiting so you need the aoe dmg
I think radiace is good when you're semi behind.. Like not getting stomped, but you're behind them and they don't have a team which can go high ground in 25 mins..
I just realize not long ago but when u have radiance sometimes the enemy attack will missed..it is looks like the spectre 3rd skill lessen the damage but its reduct until 0 damage when u have radiance..its not like i have evasion item or my team have solar crest or attack from high ground..its just missed like that when i have radiance..sory bad english..correct me if im wrong..
you shouldn't have problems pushing waves with drums,manta.
dagger+mirror image clears waves pretty fast.
but you can actually haunt gank/teamfight with those items early.
with urn drum build aka early online build its pretty counterproductive to go straight radiance unless you really snowballed earlygame for some reason. I think I prefer radiance on the games i build vanguard because you can farm jungle with alot better sustain, still fight a little bit and if i go vanguard its usually against much rightclickers and against those the radiance is better.
urn drum into yasha, manta diffusal or manta into radiance or whatever you need but manta first big item into diffusal if not radiance. Dont go diffusal ever before manta imo, i've done it several times but it's not just so good without the manta really
I don't get why no one likes vanguard anymore but anyway, radiance is still great later vs tanky heroes and right clickers while diffusal is better against softer targets and a lot of supports.
Vanguard is great! you can just go into jungle without ever being low, makes illusions impossible to kill with radiance and makes you tanky as fuck with the damage block and miss from radiance

Vanguard dont delay radiance more then a urn drum build would. Also rushed radiance sucks. You deal alot of damage in a teamfight but without hp deadek ez gg -25 if naked radiance.
Right you don't go vanguard urn and drums, for one you'd run out of slots. Drums is more offensive than vanguard but I just like vanguard. I usually get Aquila too. Vanguard + Aquila is close to cost of drums + urn.

If game is good, people go for radiance but hey honestly a manta diff rush in a game going well you end it too.
and like even if the game is breakeven, going manta diff rush you get huge aspd boost and can achieve similar farm to radiance
