Yahoo answers is full of a retarded ppl who can't just give us a straight answer. (According to me last year running into those guys and I stopped using yahoo answer ever since)
Partly to blame are the people asking questions that are at best easily answerable with google and at worst only requires half-assedly used common sense
Oh and to put things in perspective, rating yahoo answers as 1 for my worst and this PE site 10, I rate dbuff a median 5 but slowly edging to 4.9999999999
The least friendly I've seen is Reddit, from where they banned me for speaking out against BRs.

but the most toxic online communities I've been to is Thailand HON community
Reason: I first play HoN before Dota 2 and guess what? In my first game, I picked The Chipper because I think his skill suit my playstyle but during the game, I accidentally pressed the wrong button wasting my ulti and then my teammates start to flame at me non-stop and told me to uninstall HoN (Yeah, like hell I'm gonna do that asshole.) what's funny is that this teammates have KDA like this 1/10/3 and yet he think that he is better than me and finally I end up 3/7/5 because I wasn't quick enough (You know HoN is a fast-paced game) so I decided to play a few more match and stop playing this because it's too difficult for me to play.
Best? BasilMarket. I still went there from time to time even tho i have quitted Maplestory for more than 4 years just to chat up.
Worst? Yahoo and Reddit

Civ fanatics has a huge off topic community and very active forum but it's extremely political and basically two or three right winger crazies vs everyone else who is European liberal and students or professors all single. So basically a bunch of idiots who know nothing about real life all trying to sound smarter than each other. It's really obnoxious. Ok they're not all European, one guy who is one of the most outspoken and a huge race baiter is an admitted convicted criminal and at one time in the country illegally and hired illegals for his swimming pool cleaning company. And I'm supposed to take his opinions seriously. He's what's wrong with this country, criminal illegals thinking politicians don't give them a fair shake. He should've been thrown out a long time ago.

9gag places a close 1.5 in my scale. Really hate how they see everything wrong in just about any post. I happened to browse their vids section and one of those vids showed a guy doing a really cool drum solo but surprisingly everyone would have happened to see a better performance. Like really, there's no need to rub someone's noobness so brashly in the face in public(except if we're talking about the dagon-rapier riki guy).
