Because you first pick a counterable hero. And your counters aren't exactly unpopular. Tbh, many of them may not even be noticing you. Those heroes are just widly enjoyed :/
^im always wondering why ppl choose this kind of nicknames, like, do u know that in a ticketed lobby the "standin" part of the nickname is attributed automatically, so if you are actually playing as standin in a league/tournament, you'll be Standin.standin.standin?
@standin. thx. i know riki is OP, thats why im always pick it. im lose cuz only feeder teamates, even enemy has much counter i can still win btw.
What is this recent trend of riki spamming? One is a 10 mmr guy who lost his brain when he was 3 and this guy now who has gone into HS spamming riki in smurf...
I mean after the patch riki is not even good in lower brackets any more... I used to pick the old riki and kill noobs but with this model its not possible even to do that anymore
Because 95% of people are extremely dumb so they go for counters that are as simple as counters can get, like picking bounty/slardar vs riki and buying mkb on every single hero vs phantom assassin, even though brissle counters riki harder than reveal heroes, and nuking heroes (tiny, meepo, tinker, timbersaw etc) counter pa harder than building mkb on every hero you pick for example. Because people don't want to think, thinking hard, HULK SMASH!
Riki can be countered by almost any hero.
In fact, a Riki without AB can't dare to touch to someone at full hp.
I would not bother me in counter Riki with a hero. Its better counter him with items.

every im 1st picking riki, ppl mostly picks counter heros for me like bh, slardar, and zeus. for example this, this, this, this,this, and this. maybe they think it can secure win with but according to my games its a no, mostly when im couterpicked, its a win for me. maybe pros can explain this. if some u here play with me stop counterpicking, its useless, and annoys me too. thx sir
