You lost 8 in a row. If thats called things that are getting better, i don't know what you consider getting worse. :D

Just get better at the game and you will climb by time.

You can improve in no time! You have so many big things you can work on, that climbing mmr is really really easy.

          1. Pick wise (heros that match your lineup or you are strong with; do not put too much effort in support below 3.5 k mmr)

          2. Learn to farm (Lasthits/Denies/Flashfarming midgame)

          3. Do not feed (Just do not)

          4. Built proper Items (Dagon Spectre might be fun, but might lose you the game).

          5. Adapt your skillbuild (there is no “right” skillbuild for every situation)

          6. Watch what is going on (Check minimap and other lanes often; use your tp if enemies dive)

          7. Make the right decisions (Push/Farm/Gank/Defend/Rosh when the time has come etc.)

          8. ALWAYS CARRY A TP

          9. Check your enemies Inventories.

          10. Do not rage (lowers apm, causes you to get muted, and nobody will listen to you anyways; If someone rages mute him)

          11. If you get tired by playing, you are hungry or angry, just stop playing.

To do this focus on one aspect a time to improve:

Watch your replays to see your mistakes; watch pro replays/good streams, to see how they do it.

i've been in that point too and i admit that its hard to get out of that trench. From your past games, i noticed that there are always 4 or 5 cores in your team, it is very common especially in 2-3k , in my experience i tried to support going up starting with the easy ones such as ogre or maiden and it helped me reach hs/vhs. Point is, if you know that your team is stubborn or closed minded in the picking phase , try to compromise your position to be a support, in that way at least you can give enough space for your team to farm. Also, cores in normal skills are pretty good actually so its not hard being support for them.

TS, I am on the same path as you. You can try playing only 3-4 heroes for now and get comfortable with them. Try your best to synergize with your team picks, playing the role needed even if you do not like to.

Alternatively, another thing that seems to work well is just play mid every game.. playing position 2 you can snowball at mid and create plenty of space for your team's carry to farm while being a semi-carry at the same time.

I see you have played OD,tinker & storm quite a few times, maybe you can just spam OD,ZEUS,TA(is amazing if you can master the psy blade harassing in the laning stage can even beat QOP players who counter pick you). For games where mid is already picked, then do your best to pick what role is needed for your team.

Personally, I am still in the normal bracket and have been playing quite a bit of support. (Yes...I know omni cancer picker)
Try to solo Q as much as you can as you may already know that SOLO Q and party Q are two different hidden mmrs.

My goal is to calibrate solo mmr only after hitting VHS skill bracket(3.8k hidden+??) There is a lot you improve on just by playing more games.

Also, the easiest way to learn how to play your favorite heroes efficiently are by watching vods of pro players playing them in their perspective. EG, you wanna be a grandmaster offlane furion just watch offlane furion vods and then proceed to spam offlane furion for 30-50 games in a row before moving on to your next desired hero.

It is easier to spam your top 5 heroes in order to have a higher impact on the game especially in solo Q. If you get really bored of playing the same damn heroes than go party for a few games and play any hero you like then come back to grinding same heroes on solo q again.

At the end of the day remember it is a pub game and not everyone may be taking the game as seriously as you think, when games are not going so well just try to best to enjoy yourself and do not bother flaming each other. Don't be afraid to abuse the meta, if you want to go safe lane sven, farm for 20mins while using your hotd to stack ancients then proceed to rape the enemy team just do it.

Ask yourself what role you want to specialize in, for me personally I am only interested in playing support or mid in solo Q. Currently practicing mid heroes.

                        Sorry for wall of text.
TL;DR: Stick to 3-5 heroes, play them religiously. Spam 100 games with the same hero if you have to, remember when you want to climb you want to get better than the people in your current game. Watch VODs on specific hero to learn how to play efficiently.
