Use default settings. qwer for skills, zxcvbn for items, where u use zxc mostly for active items.
Forget space, u have problems with basics. Besides Tinker is not so ez to play with. U have active bottle, Sould ring, Dagger, Dagon/Schyte/Eblade + skills so its a huge amount of active abilities. Start from something ezier.
Imo the fastest move I can execute is doing it with a mouse that has a 4th button on the thumb. For me, I can blink faster that way than with any keyboard shortcut.

My inventory hotkeys are alt-q to alt-s then my last one is space bar. I find it difficult using multiple hotkey like say, tinker or natures prophet with hex dagon blink. I even struggle if I use two items like dagon and blink dagger. I mainly use spacebar on any active items say; manta, blink, dagon, bkb. any tips or hotkey settings to get faster with using hotkeys?
