General DiscussionHero rankings, does anyone know how it works?

I'm confused with how I'm not in the top 100 for Timbersaw in the hero rankings, I occasionally check to see who's in it and I always notice that most are verified/plus subscribers who are in higher divisions, yet what befuddles me is that there number of matches (I see some that aren't even 100), win rates, average KDA, etc. isn't that impressive even for higher skilled brackets in comparison with my own in my opinion though I note that may be because of different skill brackets, yet again I don't see myself in the list even though I have almost 500 plays with a near 70% average win rate, I know not haveing over 3000 matches and playing in higher skill brackets while not being verified which are my current concerns with my career especially in relation to this topic may be a potential answer to why I'm not in but only qualified.. I'm seriously confused and would appreciate if anyone can explain why I'm not in it or if I even can..

u wont get to top100 untill u get at least 4.5k mmr.

also any 5k mmr played would have a way better winrate in your bracket, even if he hasnt played timbersaw ever before. u cant be anywhere near decent and play in normal skill bracket in the same time.

what about the hero score calculations, its based on:
1) average difficulty of your games (~mmr)
2) amount of games
3) winrate
4) KDA (this factor has very low impact)

In order to be normal skill and be in top 100 you'd need to have like 8k games of timbersaw with really good stats and like 60% winrate, but guess what, if that'd happen, you'd be so deep in VHS that this can never happen.

1v1 mid timbersaw would probably be really absurd to watch though.

well in theory he could have 8k games with 80% winrate on timbersaw and 8k games with 20% winrate with other heroes lolz
