You can calibrate at 500 MMR or 4k MMR, it's not the same, you have to go way above either to be any good, but you're still starting off at different levels of bad. Now, when you're 500 MMR you listen to almost literally anybody's advice because you're that level of bad, when you're 4k you can start ignoring people who are much worse than you.

Good luck with your youtube thing though, as annoying as I think you are, it's a cool hobby, but most people would rather watch Twitch nowadays, Youtube is oversaturated with same type of content, hence why it's like 10x harder to get known on Youtube nowadays than back in it's glory 06-09 days. Back then you could record with a potato, and still get subs, now adays, 1080P + SOMETHING DIFFERENT about you is a must.
