Yeah, I totally agree. I'm 3.5-4k myself on my main, and since I started smurfing and got calibrated at both 4.5k solo and party, I learned a lot.
I played one game of Shadow Fiend in 3.6k on my main today, and it was really different feeling compared to my older games in that bracket.
I don't think I'm done, and I think I need to improve a lot more, but every day playing on smurf is helping me actually a lot.
I'm quite happy with outcome so far. Best thing is that I don't even get flamed for my performance. Actually, people are saying that I did pretty good for 3.8k player, since I always tell them that I'n 3.8k at very start, and apologize if I don't fullfill their expectations.
Few of them actually said then they would never say I'm 3.8k.
I'm really trying to improve, and I enjoy playing 4k+ Dota so much. Since someone will probably realise this wrong, I'll say one more time I don't say I'm 4.5 yet, but I think with time, I'll become 4.5k myself and able to climb on my main close to that rating when I get better.
I also tried to get a bit out of my comfort zone by playing OD and Phoenix today, it felt so weird..
I'm not sure, but we still had hard time ending that game actually.

how the heck did u calibrate 4,5k party? I calibrated 4,3k party and I have 90% winrate in party if not higher

I didn't play with Triple, I was playing 2-stack with my 3.8k friend calibration games for party.
First game started at 3.9k and slowly progressed until it stabilized for 4 or 5th game for around 4.3-4.4k and I ended up having 4495 for Party.

It was just very hard game but it was also very fun and I think I really learned a lot about Dota in this game.
I won't lie, I didn't play perfectly, not even close, but holy shit, I wish every game was like this one.
It totally drained every bit of my energy and kept me on the edge of my chair.
New OD is so op. 4ks can play Tinker 100x better then 3.7-3.8ks..
