I think your Omnislash is much faster, it's something I noticed during a time when Jug MoM is popular.
In addition to the 3/6/9 slashes from the omnislash itself he continues to auto attack more or less normally during the ultimate. Just adding damage or attack speed will increase his damage during the ultimate. This includes effects like maelstrom and cleave.
MoM is good on the hero because it adds plenty of damage for it's cost and he is invulnerable while using omni, so the drawback doesn't apply at the time, and then he can purge it with bladefury afterwards.
Nope, that was fixed a long time ago, blade fury doesn't remove any positive buffs anymore. And by "long time ago" I really mean 6.84:
Here's the excerpt from the changelog:
"Blade Fury
No longer ignores ancient creeps, Roshan and creep-heroes.
Now follows the same dispel rules as other sources of spell immunity (no longer dispels most positive buffs).
Increased cooldown from 30/25/22/18 to 42/34/26/18."
