pt gives you good attackspeed for farm and you kinda need it to tread switch early on
BoTs aren't that good on AM because you already go around pretty quickly with Blink and it would delay your Manta, which is something you need urgently, all the time.
^ this pretty much i don't know if it's better in the long run, becasue with that 2000 gold you could get power treads + basiliu for vlads, or band of elveskin for yasha
You will have to play careful though because you don't have any items apart from your BoT if they have any stuns you'll die.
Not worth it IMO, you farm fast enough that the loss of less than 700 gold when you sell your PT is not gonna hurt that much, and early if you have any tier 1 towers it should not be that needed. Just go treads into BoTs most of the time, don't see a reason to rush BoTs, or walk around with brown boots for 10+ minutes.
PRETTY MUCH, horrible idea, only for late game when it's about time people starting buying BotS.
He needs the attack speed, tread switch, and the low cost. What happens if you have a bad start? Maybe start off 0-3, still gonna make them, ? You'll just be AFK farm even longer.
Does sound nice being able to TP where ever you want though. :P
BoTs might be a good idea to get even before you get 6 slotted, like after manta for example, because then you can split push really hardcore even if the lanes are already pushed out. So if you go PT > Bfury > Vlads > Manta and then switch PT for BoT I can see that work, but not before that, treads are just too good for AM, and once you get manta you become less dependent on treads' stats though you'd ideally want to still have treads, you only get BoTs that 'early' if you really know what you're doing and you see that as the way to win easier.
No it's not ive tried in bot match just to see how it is. U remeber how you attack before pt? The as is terrible. Not only it delays your farm, but also makes you squishier and u cant tread switch and all those stuff. His playstyle is not like ember to go qeound the map and have early kills bc of burst damage. All the tp u buy will take max 375 gold (say u tp 5 times in less than min 20 with am) which is still less than BoT but with more AS and gpm

dont do it u switch lanes fast thanks to blink and u need treads for survivability and farming speed
I agree after manta sometimes but i almost always get em after manta>butterfly>BoT bc butterfly solves the +AS issue of tread
i totally ignore everything posted here.
i sometimes go BoT if i will splitpush heavily and get an early vlads (after or before bf). so basically boots>vlads/bf>BoT>manta>...
i have one finger on report button when i see am going brown boots battle fury while getting shat on in lane

Are BoTs ever worth as AM as first boot choice? I mean it kind of improves your farming potential, as you are present to more lane>more creeps but is it worth?
