time to come back to playing the ol' fellow offlane Doom Bringer
Well, my friend owned a wraith king + lion lane with offlane doom. It's like, yes, they stun him, but then again, he regens so fast he just does not fucking care.
No fuck he isn't. Scorched Earth is now pretty powerful, and that makes a huge advantage for him.
He still has 0 armor, pretty squishy early and rank 1 hellfire is exactly the same, rank 2 only a bit stronger, it's the last ranks that are a lot. So offlane doom, just zone him out early, shouldn't be that bad.
I honestly would like to see remake to this hero. He is the 2nd most annoying shit to play against, just after Techies.
He can also eat a wolf for 30% of his base damage (which is pretty big with his 3.2 str gain) and 20% crit. Previously, rightclick doom was a bad idea because of his horrible attack speed, low armor, and lackluster evasion items for non-agi heroes, but now that we have moonshard and solar crest...
He's pretty damn versatile now, is what I'm saying. Can snowball into an actual carry, and even if he doesn't, he's still useful to his team with nothing but brown boots because of his ultimate and alpha wolf aura.

I just played against a doom and holy fucking shit, his regen is WAY to high on scorched earth. He can literally run down supports and there is no way in hell you can stop him from doing it.
