very high skill = ur trash
normal = ur trash
high skill = ur trash
thats how dota works :D

It's an estimation of the average MMR between all players in a match.
Something along the lines of
Normal Skill < 3200 < High Skill < 3800 < Very High Skill

Not sure about the numbers, though.

Skill Bracket represents average mmr of the game.

lowest (in terms of mmr) 75% matches - Normal Skill (0-3200 av mmr)
medium 15% of matches - High Skill (~3200-~3650 av mmr)
highest 10% - Very High Skill (3650 and above)

there exists mmr in normal matchmaking as well, but you cant see it, although you can guess it basing on which skill bracket your matches belong to.

skill bracket means love, skill bracket means life. skill bracket means (Le)Shreck doing naughty things to you.

Idunno why im playing most of my games in normal skill bracket... i mean, you can check my kda, and some other stats, it is not funny to play all the time with people in not the same REAL SKILL LEVEL. sometimes its funny but theres no way to improve there.

if u p[lay in nomrl skill bracket consistently, then you belong there.

Personly i feel that Very high means your teammates are incredible bad and the enemys are just the same as in Normal or High and mostly if its Normal its kinda stomp game. It litteraly means nothing considering enemy skill.
