Start looking for a team when u reach 5.5k+ mmr that means u are individualy skilled enough for tier 3 or tier 4 team before that there is no point you ll only be noob and play with noobs
i would like to think that i could get somewhere with a team of dedicated players but im only 4.4k shit
I don't know, like i get what you mean Strongmind but at the same time i don't know if i'm learning anything in pubs that will be usefull in competitive.
you can just try to play with a random team, learn some shit and still focus on gaining enough solo mmr. Then you just move on to better teams. Think that you need to at least spend 10 hours playing dota, seriously
But the prob is that i'm a sup so i'm afraid that at some point i'll need to spam core in pubs
it is not about spamming cores, its about learning every role, being good at ALL of them and just specialize in support. It is ok to not be able to play certain heroes, it is NOT OK not being able to play all roles to a satisfactory level. Ofc if you're aiming to go pro. If you can't do that then don't bother, support is just the first step at learning dota, you get vision of the game as you have more space and movements are core in that role. Similar situation with the other roles and you can't be a good support without knowing and experiencing the needs of the other roles. Remember you're support, there to improve their performance, make it ez, etc. You think putting wards and using tp is everything you do?
so well ^^^^^^ is just a small part, think about it
Yeah, i'm aiming to go pro. And i get what you're saying, you're absolutely right. I like to play safelane carry and offlane as well, but i never play mid, cause well, some guy always wants to get mid in pubs, and i don't want em to cry :D
But yeah, i'll do that, definitly. Thanks for your time.
if u want, we can try casual stacking in ranked and if everying goes okish, we can try some amateurs later.
Not even the TI hype, i would just like to get to play with people who actually play the game, not just 1 game per day
mmr means nothing
like 60% of players who play in ti are 5k scrubs (pubs doesnt mean shit u can work on ur mechanical skills there but thats all)
and look at all those 8k players sitting at home
