Cold Embrace is like a sometimes better, sometimes worse Shallow Grave and the rest of her kit is just much better than Dazzle I think. And when you think how popular Dazzle was, WW just seems that much more annoying.
Bane can offer great control in a team fight and shut down your enemy's carry early, but I think that hero is so risky to play with at TI. If things go wrong, he is one of the worst supports you can have, and he needs farm and levels to be even remotely good late game.

don't bring burst magic damage against WW and that is what happens. Lion instead of bane would have just fingered them.
