im doing it without introducing myself, i just say something among "hi, i was thinking whether i could get a photo with us together", then we sometimes chat a bit, usually they ask me about something (usually the bow) or the talk about the mononoke movie, other times i ask them how did they make certain stuff either because it could be useful or because some parts look like a lot of effort and i'm interested in that
sometimes the discussion slips into talking about animes having our characters or telling the other one that we saw other ppl cosplaing something from theirs etc
never really felt like i have an opportunity to initiate introductions and starting with that just for the photo is kinda weird bc i dont always talk with them more than that (usually because they're, again, in a circle of their friends and it feels awkward)
