Allow me to inform you all of how we almost died early this morning.
At approximately 9:00pm EST/4:00 am Syria time the IDF launched a missile strike on a joint Russian/Syrian air base killing and injuring roughly 40 men including Russian and Iranian officers. It is rumored that the Russians were special operations advisors. Based on radar callouts, these missiles were likely fired from (an) IDF Dolphin class submarines off the coast of Israel.
2 hours later, at 11:00pm EST/6:00 am Syria time, ALL civilian aircraft flying in and out of Israeli airspace was grounded, and flights were barred from taking off, just as SAA fighters on the ground began talking on twitter about aircraft being scrambled and flying "In the direction of the sea". IDF radar showed the planes flying in the general direction of the US Sixth Fleet main body carrier group. Only minutes later, the Pentagon issued a statement confirming that they were uninvolved, and according to radar callouts by IDF frigates, the aircraft almost immediately changed course away from the US carrier group.

The P/k/ discord war room continued to listen and decipher morse as the IDF frigates continued their radar callouts on the tracked Russian/Syrian planes. A few minutes later, the IDF frigate Hanit related information to a Patriot 3 Surface-to-Air Missile battery (SAM) and almost immediately after, a “Birds Affirm” and “Birds Away” call was made, indicating SAM track and launch. Roughly a minute later, Hanit stopped tracking two aircraft. It appears that it was shot down because its radar callouts completely disappeared from the readouts while it was still very much in range.
Shortly after we started picking up transmissions from an aerial command vehicle, callsign "Skyking" declaring "cocked pistol". For those of you who do not know, "cocked pistol" is “rounds in the chamber” for nuclear missiles, and represents an imminent nuclear launch, should the situation require. (This was never confirmed declared by the Pentagon however it was declared by callsign “Skyking”).

Things began to cool down a bit after that and within an hour the IDF declared all clear.
Notes:
1: While the Syrians to possess a very limited number of MiG-29 fighters, the presence of Russian on the base leaves the true origin of the fighters unknown. However, the did fly out of Syrian Air Bases.
2: While not a NATO country, Israel is a Major Non-NATO Ally (MNNA), and is compliant to the NATO standard brevity code.
