i suppose that you could say that you can't ever see 3d object in it's entirety. you only see the 2d projection from your angle of view. imagine that you're looking at a cube. you can't see all the 6 sides at the same time, max 3.
now if you would look at the 4d cube, you could say that you can see the cube from all sides at once since your view is the whole "bigger" cube
its just biological stuff, u can read about eye structure in wiki if u feel interested. in general, we see only two dimentional picture, but on the stage of interpretation our brain adds an illusion of 3rd dimention basing on a bunch of tricks.
@lawful good its as arin said, when you look at a cube as 3d being you can only see 2 dimensions, as a 4d being you could see the cube as a whole (that's why im wondering wether you could see EVERYTHING in the universe), and 5d beings can see whole spacetime (3 geometrical + time)
when you look at something 3d while the object is illuminated from all the sides with same intensity (basically you don't see a shadow), can you tell if the object is 2d or 3d? nope. it could be as well just drawn on paper and you wouldn't ever get to find out the truth unless you'd change the angle of your view.
that's how optical illusions work.
look at this
is it an object, a cube? or is it just a shape of hexagon?
i don't see any reason why should the parallel lines converge
you can look at it like as the cube would perfectly symetrically stand on one of its corners and you'd look at it from the top
hmm. the eyes themselves just see 2d btw. they are like a camera projecting into our brain. our brain adds the 3d interpretation.
i think thats why someone would say that our "vision" is 2d.
@lawful good
i can write down a geometrical interpretation to show it
though it's gonna take me like two hours from now since i have to go shopping with my stepfather in a while
if u r talking about 4d, its not new
I think I have some time Triple yup, maybe later today or tomorrow :))
okay, im looking forwards to lose some dotka games
i might join u if u want to lose and still have not more than 5303 mmr.
yeah, our vision is two-dimentional, but in maths we use more than two

wtf is going on
since when does it look like this
@lawful good
why dont u want to google it
nice ads :)

read it
"perceiving" 3d is a neurological process including eyes, nerves, brain cells.
ever looked at these 3d images, where something suddenly comes to life? or 3d movies? they fuck w ur brain. thats it.
which attitudee, sorry? are utalknig to me?
Dnt u hate it when your in the middle of an intense clash and you forget to breathe and u suddenly collapse.

@hush, that's what we're trying to prove

Idk if this is gonna help

lawful good whats ur issue actually
Alright m'niggas thanks for the maths support, now I just need to learn Accounting standards in russian xD
(due next week, fuck me)
well thats just how it is, as 3 dimensional beings we can only percieve 2d (but yeah, depths via eyes etc blabla)
or am i not understanding your q
