I was hoping for more choices though

if i wanted to try stupid shit that's fun i would just random 1st or 2nd pick and see where i end up after 10, 20 or 30 games ;)

I already do that but most of the time you get a hero you don't like to play and even if you win you don't have fun.

i thought about going for weird heroes when I get bored of dota myself (and it should happen some day, i guess). by "weird" i mean heroes that require a different kind of playstyle than most others: meepo, broodmother, Io, etc. In case you don't know to play some of these heroes, it might be fun to learn it, and, eh, see the game from a different perspective.

Play overthrow and mini games on reborn, a lot more fun than playing Dota2 if you can get into a non-laggy game.

On that note anyone else slightly upset you can't pick pugna for overthrow and yes I realize how annoying it would be but not as if there isn't a rikki almost everytime.

Just don't pick pudge or mirana, those two are spammed enough already. All the other three str ones are good, all underplayed, though lc is played slightly above average participation rate (I think 9% would be even distribution, 110 heroes, 10 a game means you should see them every 11 games, or 9% right?).

And don't pick invoker, spammed too much as well. BH is supposedly picked a lot too but I rarely see him and hero is interesting since he can roam or carry or gank or support.

@sterling Yeah dude I know.
Also I play overthrow with my friend but it gets so stale after a while because all the same heroes get picked and I haven't seen a good team to even challange us so it's kinda boring.

Edit: Okay I come back and see Ember has surpassed Mirana and since I didn't start yet I will probably go with Ember.

Honestly 6.84 has made Dota a bit boring for me too.
