If you max axes first, you can rush soul ring and stack/farm ancheins in the dire . It's good if your doing a dual offlane for creating more farm in total, and early game you kind of need the nuke damage to follow up your ulti. Tranquils are good if you want to do some roaming at lvl 6, but brown boots are fine. Blink dagger if you want teamfight, necro if you wanna rat. Medallion helps as well with the physical damage of your axes, and beastmaster can also pick up a vlads. The hero is very versatile, and such shouldn't be pinned to a single cookie cutter build.
If you can stack ancients then max axes. Because bonus level you gonna get is gonna make up for it.
Let alone gold.
If they warded it, or have shit that can contest, then just play safe with call of the wilds maxed.
I wouldnt max aura completely and play without axes. But rather a mix of both, mby leave aura at 2.
If you are playing ancients+axes soul ring is good. If you are more static on lane then bottle.
How do you farm ancients on him? I have never played bm, just wondering. You use boar to tank?
axes deal aoe damage. the boar can be used to stack and provides some minor damage. you don't tank them, you just hit them as the creeps are going back to the camp after you axe them.
if you farm ancients 4 into axes lets you farm them slightly quicker, while 3 into axes means you can have summons maxed by 8. think a 3-4-0-1 build is more useful than a 4-3-0-1 build and it still gives you decent ancient farming capabilities.
Radiant offlane you can go down and throw axes at ancients at obvious time to stack.
Doesn't that take forever to kill them then if you only hit them while they're resetting? I mean the axe dmg isn't that much and costs a lot of mana.
Your stacking though at the same time so everytime you do the throw your stacking and chipping away at their hp.
Only time I watched it done successfully was with soul ring. I tried it once and did ok. Doubt this is a good idea in high mmr unless you randomed the bm.
if ur sacking with axes ur already dmging ancients and getting closer and closer to clear them, it does more dmg then it feels like.
boar/crow for vision, set boar to autoattack, go 2,3,2,3,2,3,4 get your boars maxed, ur aura gets u LH w/ beast. WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT? 60% win with beast 160ish games out

So I would like to practice this hero, I find him quite fun to play. What's the most common build for offlane in terms of items & skill build? Do u stack ancients with Boar or do u do it with Axes & how to have enough mana to clear them ? How do u farm up ur items ? Other tips welcomed.
