It is so much problem
This is literally eCancer. Either reinstall Windows or try to deinstall the programm by hand. you can't do it through the system, you have find the folder and delete it.
You have to reinstall your browser aswell btw.
the thing is.... its super complicated to get rid of that shit and it srsly kills your computer :D!!!
I have no clue what omniboxes are but I had some similar malware ignoring adblock and was opening random windows
go into control panel -> program manager (w/e it's called) and sort entries by latest date, uninstall all the unknown shit (I used CCleaner, maybe you can do it with default one)
I tried to uninstall it.
Couldnt find it in the ordinary list.
Then I tried to search for it in on the hard drive. Both mnaually and with the search box.
To me it seems like it is well hidden and even change places on the disk.

Omniboxes is some kind maelware that most free programs can not detect as virus or maelware. Technically it is not virus or maelware if I understand right.
I thought I did remove it from the drive and Firefox. However, I did not remove it from Chrome and IE. And now it is back in Firefow again.
And it is so extremly annoying and time consuming.
And if I click like just anyware the result can be like 3-4 new tabs with spam content
