It's so hard to bring people together so just make 2 descent stacks of DB players and go games or sth. I dont see any other way to do it, cause it has been tried before and it didnt work out.
do you mean a real ihl like what reddit, playdota and faceit have? i think this community is far too small for that
if old school ppl here would play like chris and vrok there would be full games ez but with the new ppl idk
i hate this sense of "superiority" from some players.
i have been 4500-4900 for some time, but i dont despise playing with 2k-3k players even tho sometimes they dont understand anything.
a league like this shouldn't be about all 4.5k+ go go play, and rest spectate.
it should be about some fun matches, relatively balanced by mmr.
but it would still not happen cuz people are lazy to make it.
I tried and it didn't work out very well, i might still be able to give a hand if u feel like doing it but i dont think someone will attempt
Do a world cup style knockout 1v1 mid tournament. Any one who watches football (EU) should knows the 4 man group system that goes into the knock out rounds. You could even impose a draw when the score in a game is 1-1 (just end the game early at that point and give each player one point).
In fact this would be good as a straight up league: each player plays each other say four times (twice dire twice radient). 3 points a win 1 point a draw 0 points a loss. person with most points at the end wins. 1v1 is usually short so it would be easy to organize.
Im pretty sure this is a good idea. It would a fun experiment to see if the players with the highest mmr end up being at the top of the table.
no one good would play on this league ;p
unless yeah u do it fun mode, like 5v5 mid (pudge wars etc.., u know random stuff).
but its not a league anymore its just inhouse, anyone can do that, post a thread with the rules of the game and host it and wait for ppl to join
I play in the rd2l inhouse league and it's really simple... they have a guild and someone makes a lobby and says what server it's on. Ofc the big thing is that the skill difference is really big, so if that's the main concern then oh well but if you want to just have a casual lobby 5v5 guilds are probably the way to go.
This is why a lot of decent players stopped playing FACEIT, you get some simpleton calling core and forcing you to work around him then you wind up with some garbage PA build and then at the end you realise you got paired with a 2k player who fancies himself a pro.
I would play if there is a game, someone just needs to set it up at a reasonable time then message me when it's up.
@Fyyq
u got 87% winrate on smurf acc, and I got only 1 game with u there. Guess its result.
