i have it, wanted to give it a try for some days now.
i heard there are no items but instead its more fighting/action and more maps.

There are like 7 different maps and like 35 heroes. The variety is in the talent builds instead of item builds and it's quite fun to play a game now and then since the games only take around 20 minutes to complete.

its a nice little distraction. If Dota didn't exist it would be amazing but it's hard to go from Dota to Storm because kills and big plays don't really feel satisfying.

Im enjoying it thus far. Not playing dota at all.

cause i think its pretty decent. cant be compared to dota tho, has way fewer mechanics and shit so its probably easier to play but looks fun.

i just randomly logged into my battle net account and i had HOTS there. i didnt use any key. might be because i played wow for a long time and because i have diablo as well. at least thats how i got into warlords of draenor beta

yeah i applied for beta and got it in like 3 days despite not having any wows or diablos.

I like heroes, BUT i haven't played in over 6 months because the MM is frustrating. Most games are huge stomps and they will MM new players with <20 games played with players who have 1k+ games played. (they have yet to fix this as far as I know)

I like that is is a moba with a lot of team fight action and less "boring" aspects such as long laning phases. It's a nice break from dota and you can play with without having to worry about a lot of research or learning. Great game to play with friends who only play league too.
