Weell maybe it just depends on the skill bracket, idk. I have shitty mmr and every pudge I get to play with is disgusting to watch, but chat talking? Only around 10-20%, luckily
i see pudge players so rarely in the last months, but when some1 picks pudge, im 100 percent sure he is rly good with it.

They've also made a Pudge brand cologne. These players walk around, smelling like a zombie's asshole, and just don't care.
As I managed to get more than 53% with pudge spamming him first pick at some points, I can guarantee you that it's good to chat with the other team when you get deny, good hooks... In the same way the other team will talk to you when you fail hooks, as pudge is a hero that need focus and if you're in tilt you will miss hooks.
And more important it's so fun when you get succesful hook or deny.
I stoped playing with him as so much heroes got buffed and he was never buffed, he's really less strong that most heroes.
If you don't run Pudge in an offensive trilane or in a team with massive ganking potential i guarantee that you'll lose and be underleveled and underfarmed as fuck for the whole duration of the game. Yolo-swag-mlg-blind hooks happen rarely and every moderate Pudge user knows that what i'm saying is accurate.
pudge can be usefull in many games but the point is that many pudge players think that if they land some good hooks they are good
pudge is a great ganker and can help and even win a teamfight with a hook/ulty on enemy CORE hero he can also smoke gank and help other lanes too
whenever I see pudge (that isn't memelover133769) it's normally the opposite. Always trashtalked against and says nothing, while doing pretty poorly.
Pudge is a hero where individual skill can result in kill after kill, terror in the enemy team and amazing game changing plays. Is it then surprising that he is attractive to people with a very high estimation (whether true or false) of their own individual skill and a strong desire to make game winning plays?
I'm not that great with him but I think he is one of the easier of the "high skill cap" tier of heroes, too. So someone intimidated by Meepo or Invoker could play 4 or 5 games as pudge, get a handle on making the easy hooks and feel he or she is hot shit and have that go to their head based on their own predisposition to be cocky and desire to show off individual skill.
Pudge is a lot like Phantom Assassin, how do you say? When there is a Pudge on the enemy team he is Dendi, just like when there is a PA on their team she crits 3 times in a row every time. A Pudge on my team its like the first time he's played the hero, and I can't buy a damn crit when I play PA.

I agree and disagree, Pudge along with some other heroes like bara, and techies are chaotic enough to win games. I don't think pudge is a free win, or a loss, and mostly in my games I just stay quite and let people play what they want. It can either be really beneficial or really cost your team the win....but isn't that most games/people you play with?
Pudge missing can actually deny a lot of farm too, since they normally back off in fear for a minute or two.

edit: this all chat pudge might be a strategy too. i also do this on mid. i ask questions. the enemy mid will reply me, that giving me space for a hook, cause he wont pay attention. at 3k works good.
to the dude with pa above: just hit creeps for 4-5 non-crits, then you will crit for sure when you blink. count your hits if you dont beleive me. you will see, its 1 crit every 3-5 hits. same with axe spins. thats how you get helicopter axe. those 2 tricks never failed me
Theres tons of heroes that wreck Pudge mid. I like Silencer a lot for that. I don't think Pudge mid is all that viable. I think either support Pudge or the jungling Pudge ala Jenkins is viable though.

idk if this is just me but whenever a person the the opposing team picks pudge, hes annoying as shit.... and what i mean by that is that they always all chat and talk to the other team. Its like these pudge players get hard ons whenever they get a kill or escape with a suicide... i feel like these pudge pickers just get arroused by anything but yeah... thats about 60 percent of my experience with my pudges...
