no, its bad for dota. You need more precision thus finer movements rather than having cursor jump all over screen.
Acceleration is for fps games.

Having it off means you can CALCUATE point-on where your cursor is all the time.
acceleration sucks for muscle memory, that is all. if you move your mouse a certain distance you should expect the same result every time. acceleration fucks that up
For high paced fps games its a must. Dno how many of you played quake or ut but being able to do full spins mattered a ton.

And it's not good for CF either. CF is just like Counter-Strike. Slow paced strategic FPS game where you defuse bombs (implying you don't play stupid deathmatch pubs :D)
It's good for games like Halo and Call of Duty, or Quake as xan said which is very fast paced.

I know alot of people got this turned off for shoting games like Cs go,bf 4, cod etc. etc. but what about dota? Are you using it or you turned it off?
