1. it does, but he can counter your blade mails with euls, which is obviously cheaper than your team having to buy multiple blade mails in order to "counter" his march. tinker can also quickly regenerate his health in the fountain so if you don't kill him, then you've just damaged yourself for no benefit.
2. you gank them. split pushers are generally alone, so having 1 hero who is good at initiating is useful. if you don't have a particular hero, it doesn't matter. you need some form of mobility to initiate e.g. blink, force or shadow blade, and a disable to prevent them using escape abilities. e.g. hex, abyssal, orchid or euls.
to name a few heroes that can naturally punish split pushers : void, storm, batrider, doom, spirit breaker, nyx, clockwerk and puck
I went Aghs on Gyro once to counter a Tinker. We had a Spirit Breaker on the team and he'd just charge him and I'd ult on impact. It was a fun game.
the aghs didnt counter the tinker, the spirit breaker did. without the SB, the aghs would've been useless. however the reverse is not true. SB does not need a gyro with an aghs to punish split pushers.

which would do nothing on it's own, without the spirit breaker, who could kill the tinker alone. i guess rocket flare is also a counter to tinker by your logic

rocket flare is actually good against tinker and with clockwerks skillset it is a counter
there's a difference between "aghs gyro is fun with spirit breaker" and "aghs gyro is a counter to tinker, here's some bad reasoning" - yes he helped kill the tinker but that doesn't make it a counter. when I contribute to ganks that doesn't mean my hero counters the hero I just ganked, does it?

I was referring to rocket flare. not clockwerk and his entire skillset. rocket flare on it's own is basically a weaker version of aghs call down, both are global nukes which grant vision.
IMO, Sprit breaker can't counter tinker after 15+ minutes, because all you have to do is shift que blink to the trees after you tp in. Thus, Spirit breaker cannot charge you, much less see you....
Spirit breaker can't even carry late game compared to tinker, and all you need to get is like a linken's sphere and he is EDR (Etheral, Dagon, Rearm) X 2 from extinction. Spirit breaker only counters tinker in low skilled games
first of all tinker isn't a 'rat' hero. if he gets caught/killed by sb he is trash. the blademail thing doesnt work unless tinker is trash

actually we were left to 1 rax (one) even with like 30 kills advantage. it wasnt even throws, not a single bad player in the game just a flat out hard ass game. and lineup was meh vs splitpush, coz our base siege was bad.
i cant blame you for not watching it, but if you were to watch it you'd get an idea of what i was talking about. stats can be (and are) way too misleading.
Tinker can just laser the motherfucker and then blink away but with a gyro aghs you can actually slow him and cancel blink not to mention help burst him down. idk I don't see how it's not helpful
gank him in lane, tinker with BoTs late is a ded tinker
have tanky supports with stuns ( ogre for example )
blademail is not as good as people think
clock alone isnt sufficient
u need some global aoe since braindead tinkers wont blink into the obvious cagespot clock is rocketing

1)I've been playing a lot of matches againts Tinker , what bugs me the most is he's 3rd skill , March of the Machines. That skill actually goes through bkb and deals tons of damage and stops you from pushing. How do you counter that? Does blademail work againts tinker's march?
2) How do you deal with Rat Doto?
