You would have to put the ward uphill to get sight and that is the in the fountain area which.......dun dun
...doesn't allow wards to be placed.

I'm really good at avoiding fountain camping and very rarely get fountain camped
and I really want my feeder teammate at least get a lot of deaths from ruining games.
You can't put wards in enemy base either. I used to do this a lot when I played Eblade-Dagon prophet winning lots of games I shouldn't cause of:
Sniping people when they are in base, right before they respawn.
Nature ult>Eblade>Dagon5 instakills most heroes ~25min.
This is a very good suggestion, however I like abusing wards in enemy base.
@KOE no the throne has true sight I am not entirely sure that the fountain does as I remember when torri-tentori was doing his garbage abuse he used to just sit practically inside the fountain from the forest dagoning people.

Fountain has true sight but it's a very short AoE, shorter than it's range actually.
if it's on high ground it should jut out a bit so you can still control the fountain, but much more difficultly. fountain farming is sometimes useful in close games when you can't let them rally.
I'm a fan. Fountain camping is basically the teabagging of Dota, so I'm cool with hindering it without actually making people inside the fountain invulnerable.

I'm not sure it really matters. You almost never get camped until at least two rax are down and then it's just another 5 mins or so until your throne is down from creeps. Sometimes I get mad when other team isn't throning but then I remember how much fun I have doing the same shit- they stompped us good, let them have their 5 mins in the sun.

I like it, or perhaps re-adding the trees in the back of the fountain from dota 1. Or both.
imo camping is part of dota, it is a way of saying "this is my reward for your kicking your ass". Plus, people like to fountain camp during somewhat even games and end up throwing because of it.
