i created a smurf and played like 5 games, i think on the 3 or 4th it was already on high skill because the first two were pure stomps

NO, its not real, but he elo increase is higher in the first games

@raven there was a post on the dev forums a looong time ago. Yes they look at KDA, etc (idk exact stats for sure) in early MM to detect smurfs and accelerate their MM gains initially. That way new players aren't getting horrifically stomped and quit after <5 games - but that probably still happens anyway.

They exist, i have a friend who had 70% winrate playing supports and he get 2.5MMR
But he only support spanish people, and the average spanish player is on 1.9k
