db may start the month for different accounts on different days
as an example:
lets say your DB account was created on the 3rd day of a month. for your account, the db stats tracker may consider 1 month to be the 3rd of this month to the third of the next, whereas for someone else, 1 month could be on the 28th of one to the 28th of another, simply because the account was created on a different day
because of this, it creates a venn diagram for games that two players are in, and whether they are tracked by db or not.
that's one possible explanation i can offer.
If you don't play with your friends and constantly solo que. People you see again and again might trigger it. Only 2 of the 7 are my real friends the others are people I constantly meet at solo que, lol.

The friends of the month measure the winrate you had with THAT friend.
For example, If you played with 50 games with Bob and won like 76% of the games, in Bobs profile, it will show your statistic (In friends of the month) as 50 games with 76% winrate.
While you may have played like 6 games with another friend, and lost all of them, then in that guys profile it will show your statistic as 0%winrate in 6 games.

As I browse into my friend's Dotabuff profile (four separate profiles), I take a look at their FRIENDS THIS MONTH segment, but I noticed my stats varies on each page. Why is that?
For example:
One profile says Matches: 37, Win rate: 62.16%
another says Matches: 31, Win rate: 77.42%
Matches: 18, Win rate: 61.11%
Can anyone explain this?
