it's just that when they try to post objectively bad advice here they get flamed alot

I think since stupid people outnumber intelligent people the upvote system will only lead to more stupid ideas being upvoted.

i actually read reddit more than dotabuff lately because this community got more and more stupid ;c

the ideas there are generally okay, it's a pretty good place to keep yourself updated on dota-related content

its only when people there try to share objective advice about how to play the game or whatever that it gets bad, you get downvoted for all kinds of shit when it comes to that if your opinion doesnt conform to the 3k meta

This isnt real forum. There is like little sign of moderation. No real order, no real subforums. Anyone can post aynthing, they delete only the most offensive posts. ONLY thing why most people visit this site is cause, ofcourse, games they played and informations and interesting about their dota profiles, not cause of forum. So.. yeah.. Well I read reddit everyday. Thing is that there I find newest informations about patches, updates and things like that. What other is posted there, I dont care.

i only read it for patches, usually its full of shit and everyone just copying each other. like if you ask any of them why WR doesn't get picked more, they'll all say "because she's a shittier mirana, everything WR can do mirana can do better" when they're 2 different heroes with different purposes

I agree with the whole 'keeping up to date' part of reddit does a decent job

No and never will, in my opinion reddit is about keeping people updated about dota related stuffs, trying to argue with people in the comments about dota strategies or things like that is a waste of time.

Usually you can always find some funny stuffs, plus reddit have fixed a lot of bugs because lets be honest, valve employers actually read reddit but i am sure that none of them read this place.

I miss when DotaBUFF was all constructive criticism. My MMR went up 300 while reading guides and taking tips from people like Havoc Badger and KawaiiSocks.
Now it's just flaming disguised as constructive criticism.
