Unranked not random, but the first games are like the chess elo, it changes drasticaly your elo rating and with the games the change becomes less perceptible.
And in the unranked the people have a hiden MMR, when you play your first ranked your startingMMR is the last unranked mmr.

so winning 10 games straight against total beginner makes u 5k

they are not even good smurfs, just scum with 55% winrate while smurfing, thats so bad, but nope, scummatchmaking give them 5k hidden rating

enemy team has 1 smurf

so sad that i am forced to play ranked, since unranked is impossible

Sampson is right. After ranked was introduced, mostly all serious players play ranked and people just wanna chill out and try new heroes in unranked, while sadly making it almost unbarable.

unranked the new 'least played hero"mode. I would suggest playing on AD for unranked or at least dotacinema arena if u have no friends.

Valve matchmaking is already pretty decent for any dota 1 player who came from example garena. Wait till u get match with total newbies, quitters(back then if host quits everyone dc), or even ultra pro players. So stop complaining. Valve may not have the perfect mm system, but at least they provided us with a higher graphics dota 2 as compared to dota 1. And guess what? The free tradition continues. Be grateful you get to play the game dude.

how is a smurf different from a "real player"

many people have agreed that smurfs are matched to their actual skill level fairly accurately, so apart from a couple of calibration matches (which usually happen at the base mmr) they aren't prone to 'ruining games'

in other words you're just being selectively bias to find an excuse for bad games
