The only con to it is that you can no longer double tap for self cast. Any other con is conquerable, like not knowing range.
Yeah I am kinda surprised that most of the pros dont use it. it helps a lot IMO. Only time I disable it is when I play enigma or void to not miss my ult.

If you watch me play any hero you will never see the "crosshair" when casting a spell, or if you do its less than 0.05secs which is up to not noticeable, it can change but in 99.99999% of the scenarios it wont change a thing and therefor its up to non-present
And knowing a bigger aoe by heart where each mm counts such as void or chronosphere ulti is incedibly hard and i wouldnt recommend it as stated above
I don't understand what quick cast does for me. Looked this up:

Still didn't explain what the difference is. Can someone give me an example say if I use dazzle and cast shadow wave what the difference would be?
Basically without it you select your spell, the cursor will appear then you click on the target.
With it you will cast the spell on wherever your cursor is once you press the hotkey.
Very little difference when I tried with and without since I basically cast spells almost instantly anyway. Main advantage I can think of is spamming ground clicking with an instant disable to prevent Magnus blink initiation which you can't do as fast without.
Ahhh so you just click it then it casts wherever you hover your mouse. Meh NTY sounds bad for ult heavy heros, or say I mis-judge my range on a spell then my guy walks up to the area and gets smoked. Sounds like it would take a lot of getting used to, and makes room for mistakes.
double tap for self cast is actually quite big imho, I don't use it as well because like cpt caveman it takes a lot of getting used to, and bad on ult heavy heroes
One of the most adorable things noob boobs do is needless optimization. Nice, dude, I'm sure that netted you about 30 MMR. I see people get in the most tremendous bitch fits over having 2 drums, e.g. It's not that big of a deal.
I hope you don't mean 2 drums on one hero.
I don't smartcast, but maybe I'll try it out one of these days.
No, on a team. "Oh my god, the aura doesn't stack!" That's what I call nitpicky overoptimizing. Fix the fact that you miss 30% of your last hits and then start talking about aura optimizing - not to mention it's not THAT bad, the holder still gets the vital stats that people typically get drums for, people are not always glued together so it's nice always having the aura and not only when Bob Jackson is nearby, and it gives you 5 additional drum charges.
There are many pros out there still playing with legacy keys and autoattack on, so this new features won't make a real difference. I have all Itemslots bound on my mouse (Logitech G 600). Its more comfortable, but i has not made me a better player. If you are comfortable with it, go for it. But pls, there is no "i dont understand why ppl". Your keyattachment wont make you are better player. Beeing a player with the right attitude will make you better.
