General DiscussionSo, how does normal matching work nowadays ?

The difference is obviously caused by me stacking with a few friends who are better than me, 4100 MMR vs my 3100, but I am used to playing with try hard players after partying so so long. I solo queue'd again for the first time in months and end up playing with and against people that don't understand shit so basic as "They have a harder carry than ours, stop fucking farming and gank him and push". I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone when I solo queue, but that's what happens when your game theory and knowledge surpasses your actual skill. It's a nightmare.

Combine that with normal MM, and you have people that obviously aren't motivated to try so hard, so the derp factor is exponential.

Also, when someone got enough tryhards for a day and just want to have fun, wont play that seriously. Or They practicing roles/heroes with which they are bad. Or they finally got the chance to play drunk without lowering their mmr. Play solo ranked if you want to compare yourself to other people on your rank.

Ranked MM is screwed atm. Just wait for more people to play ranked to deflate the MMR of undeserving people.

For me, it's the other way around - I don't get tryharders (thank God, hate them just as much as the rats) but I get people that obviously have no idea what to do in a game:
